It's been over a month since my last post. A lot has happened and from now on I plan on blogging at least once a week and posting on facebook and twitter daily, so keep me accountable by leaving me comments. We left off on Day 90, the end of our journey of casting vision and building the foundation for our movie ministry. My fear was that by day 91 I would not know what to do next. Jesus called me to a disciplined 90 days of focused intensity to get this project ready to go! I just read in Dave Ramsey's "Entreleadership" his formula for momentum. Fi/t(G)=m Focused Intensity over Time multiplied by God equals Momentum.

Guess what, it's working! I have been working on making movies for more than 90 days, but on day 91, breakthrough! God didn't miss a day. On day 90 I met Jason Hearn of NW Media. One night he felt prompted by the Lord to send me an email and see what I was up to. A couple years ago we met about me possibly producing some productions for him but it never worked out. I told him about our movie ministry and we agreed to meet on day 90 at his office. After sharing with him, he decided we needed to meet the next day. After our second meeting on day 91 we shook hands and he said I am in! Over Christmas break Jason watched and read all our blogs, read the screenplay and began to put together his plan for funding CHASING DAYLIGHT!

Our board of directors hired Jason the first week in January to raise our entire production budget! Since then Jason and I have been working together everyday, putting together the plan to raise over one million dollars. I am excited to share it with you, but not today. It will be revealed through our new website, which will be right here at
www.ChasingDaylightMovie.com. My part is to produce a trailer, which we shot on Monday and is currently in post-production and the pitch video, which we will be shooting next week. Jason has brought balance to my team. Where my strength is creativity, his strength is business. It's going to take both to make this movie! I posted all of the behind the scenes stills of our shoot on
facebook. Check them out and let me know what you think!
